The Merzouga Sahara Desert, home to the tallest dunes in North Africa, is today’s intended destination. The Erg Chebbi Sahara Desert stretches for approximately 32 kilometers in length and 9 kilometers in width. The oasis of Tinjdad is only one of several that we may see along the route. Further, we will stop for lunch at a traditional Moroccan restaurant in the tiny Berber settlements of Mellab and Touroug as we go.
