Morocco 10 Days Trip

Day 1: Arrival in Tangier » Tansfer To Chefchaouen

On the first day of your 10 days trip to Morocco from Tangier, you will meet your driver at the airport and drive through the Rif mountains and Tetoun city, enjoying the beautiful vistas of the mountains until we reach Chefchaouen, a charming town located at the foothills of the Rif mountains. The Chefchaouen medina has a Spanish-style square which is surrounded by many unique arts and crafts shops, as well as rooftop restaurants and cafes. This offers an enjoyable way to spend your evening, allowing you to enjoy the gentle breeze and see the natural beauty.

Day 2:  Chefchaouen » Meknes » Volubilis » Fes

The drive to Fes leads us through lovely farmlands where olives, cereals, vegetables, and grapes are farmed.Before arriving in Fes, we will visit Meknes and Volubilis. Volubilis is home to the famed Roman ruins that remain from the Roman Empire’s southernmost frontier. Moulay Ismail established the first Arab dynasty in Meknes, which includes the Madrasa Bou Inania and the Bab Mansour, the gateway to Moulay Ismail Palace. This brings us to the Henri es-Souani, the horse stable and granaries. Upstairs, there’s a rooftop garden and cafe with a beautiful city view. Afterward, we arrive in Fes and check into our hotel.

Day 3: City Tour in Fes with an Experienced local guide

An incredible Historical day is about to start. Meet your local tour guide and start a Full exploration day, start first with the golden Palace Gates. And next head to the Borj Sud to catch a breathtaking panoramic view of the Medina, Visit the pottery factor to discover what locals’ handcraft.

After a Leisure lunch continue wandering with your guide inside the Medina and get to visit ancient religious centers. Bou Inania Madrasa, Al-Attarine Madrasa, and Nejjarine Museum. Discover the tanneries and traditional artisan workshops. As well as the University of Al Quaraouiyine. At the end of your city tour goodbye to your guide and back to the Riad for the overnight.

Day 4: Fes » Ifrane » Cedar Forest » Ziz valley » Merzouga Desert

In the morning, we leave Fes and head to the Golden Dunes of Merzouga Desert passing through the gentle Mountains of the Middle Atlas, we will be making a stop in Ifrane called the Swiss of Africa. Next, Visit the national park of Azrou a forest where wild Barbary Macaques settled it as a home for them. Afterward, we continue to Medilt for a lunch break before continuing to Erfoud the gate to the Sahara Desert.

Once we reach Merzouga Mount your camel and cross the golden dunes, on your way stop for an overlooking panoramic view of the desert village as well for to embark on a mesmerizing sunset. Upon arriving at your desert camp, you will be welcomed by a glass of tea then a delicious dinner, and ending with a nice evening ambiance of Berber music. Overnight stay in the camp.

Day 5: Merzouga Excursion » Visit Nomads, Gnawa, Mefiss, and Oasis

On the 4th day of your 10 days Morocco trip, after a traditional desert breakfast start a free exploration day in Merzouga Desert and get to discover the nomads sharing with them a teacup and explore their lifestyle, from there visit the Mefiss Mine where tons of Minerales and eyeliner stones got extracted. Next visit the village of the Gnawas in Khamlia which will offer you a captivating immersion into the rich cultural tapestry of the region.

Day 6: Merzouga Desert » Rissani » Todgha Gorge » Dades Valley

Today, we’ll say goodbye to Merzouga desert, the trip continues towards the enchanting Dades Valley, passing through the ancient village of Rissani and the breathtaking Todra Gorges. Firstly pass through Rissani, a city rich in history as the former capital of the Alaouite dynasty. Here, vibrant markets and historic monuments provide insights into Morocco’s regal history. Afterward, the path traverses the awe-inspiring terrain of the Todra Gorges, where the majestic cliffs sculpted by the Todra River form a captivating natural wonder.

In the midst of this rough and beautiful landscape, take a moment to appreciate the peacefulness and magnificence of their environment and walk along the river. As the journey continues, curving mountain roads decorated with many oasis to the charming Dades Valley. Overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 7: Boumalne Dades » Ouarzazate » Ait be Haddou Kasbha » Marrakech 

Today, we’ll drive to Marrakech, passing via the Rose Valley and the Skoura Oasis, Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou. As we go through the aromatic Rose Valley, you’ll find yourself surrounded by a multitude of colorful flowers, their pleasant fragrance filling the air. After that we drive to Skoura Oasis, characterized by abundant palm trees and historic kasbahs like Amridil scattered throughout the terrain, providing a glimpse into the authentic Berber lifestyle. 

Afterwards, we’ll continue to Ouarzazate, which is renowned as the entrance to the Sahara. At this location, you may visit the esteemed Taourirt Kasbah, a site recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Additionally, you can also explore the well-known film studios where numerous acclaimed movies and TV episodes have been produced.

Thereafter, we depart from Ouarzazate, towards the ancient fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou. This UNESCO World Heritage site enchants with its maze of earthen buildings nestled within towering kasbah walls. Evoking centuries of Berber history and culture. Continuing the journey, the route winds through the breathtaking scenery of the High Atlas Mountains. Ascending the winding roads of Tizi N’Tichka Pass. Your driver will drop you off at the Riad for overnight.

 Day 8: Marrakech Guided Tour

Today is dedicated to discovering Marrakech and its hidden gems. After a leisurely breakfast in your Riad start exploring this landmark city that filled in history. The imperial city of Marrakech was founded by the Almoravids in the 11th century. Your city tour includes visiting many enchanting landmarks such as: the Koutoubia Mosque, which considers as the symbol of the city. Next visit the authentic jewel of Almohad art, the Saadian Tombs, the Bay Palace, the Medina, and the famous Jemaa el Fna Square, where a multitude of vendors, acrobats, and Storytellers set their luck. Once your city tour ends goodbye your local guide, and continue your own strolls in the Medina and its surroundings.

Day 9: Day Trip To Essaouira

After breakfast at your riad, we will head out for the coastal city of Essaouira. After about a two and a half hour trip, we arrived and began touring the city. You will explore the Skala Fortress, witness Thuya wood carved by artisans, and wander through the medina’s alleys to admire hundreds of products. The “City of the Wind” draws surfers from all over the world. Essaouira has seen various civilisations, notably the Portuguese occupation, which has influenced much of its architecture, yet it remains a little community with a rich past. Because of its size, as well as its unique blue doors and washed walls, it is known as Morocco’s “Jewel of the Atlantic.”

You will also visit the women’s Argan oil cooperative. They extract the oil, which is known for its culinary, cosmetic, and medicinal benefits. Lunch will be prepared the Moroccan manner, with fresh fish “cooked in order” at the fish market. In the afternoon, you’ll drive back to Marrakech. Stay overnight at your riad.

Day 10: Marrakech Airport
